The gallery is a seat of the Coastal Artists Promotion Association - "ERA-ART" in Gdynia.
The
Association opened an artisctic pub – „Tygiel” - in
which all artistic branches are supposed to mix and interact. The pub is
situated In Gdynia, Abrahama 86 Street (the entrance from Władysława
IV Street)
The exhibitions of paintings, fabrics and graphics, concerts, poetic meetings, performances take place in "Tygiel”.

CAPA ERA-ART has been operating since 1996 and since the 5th of January 2005 it has been registered as a public usefulness association. It runs a charity activity organising large and small plastic exhibitions, exhibitions of artistic photography, concerts, literature meetings, fashion shows, performances which profits are remitted to the poors, it also co-operates with disabled artists.
Since the 3rd of September 1999 exhibitons of Polish and foreign artists are held in artistic pub „ Tygiel” in Gdynia. They are changed every month and a new interesting expositions are organized.
For five years now every August Era Art organizes plastic exhibitions which take place in 2500m² hall Międzynarodowych Targów Gdańskich SPAW such as:
- I i II National Biennial of Painting and Unique Fabrics–Tri-City 2001, 2003, this year III NBPUF will take place- TRI-City 2005.
- I Exhibiton of Painting, Drawings, Graphics and Sculpture.
- II Exhibiton of Painting, Drawings, Graphics and Sculpture which took place in Gdynia in Gemini and together with disabled artists In Franciscan Centre of Culture in Gdynia in due to the III Gdynia Integrations.
Since 1997 ERA-ART has been organizing North Polish Baltic Press Photo which in 2004 turned into international - I Biennale Baltic Press Photo.
The Association also organizes plastic exhibitons abroad e.g : „Fauna and Flora in Baltic Sea” in the base of ONZ in Bonn or exhibiton called „ Approaches” in Meklemburgia –Fore Pomerania.
Apart from huge plastic exhibitons in co-operation with artists from Italy, France, Germany and USA, in „Tygiel” we have recently hosted very interesting exhibiton of water-colour painting- „runic signs” by Valery Żubriovas.
Canadians Elise Gagnon and Frank Catton presented sail engravings exhibiton made on animal bones.
Apart from other exhibitons e.g. on occasion of Feature Films Festival – „ Film and film makers in satirical illustration”, on ocassion of Mother’s Day – exhibiton „Generations” in which appeared artist’s both mother and daughters etc.
ERA-ART also organizes happenings and balls,eg. Acquarius Ball, Potato Ball, All Soul’s Day Ball etc.during which auctions of pieces of art are held.
In 2005 we anticipate plenty of exhibitons and happenings about which we will inform you currently…
